 NORMANDY/ST-MALO/MONT-ST-MICHEL/CHATEAUX COUNTRY   - 4 Days 

THE TOUR : 

Discovery of three contrasting French regions and the opportunity to visit some of the country's most famous landmarks with changing landscapes of luscious green countryside, long sandy beaches, elegant seaside resorts, orchards and gardens, peaceful and flowery villages and rivers...Our itinerary and the constant presence of our guide ensures that clients gain, not only a rich experience of this area, but of the French people, and their regional customs and traditions.

ITINERARY :  Day 1: We take the Normandy motorway and make our first stop at Rouen for a walking tour in the old town before continuing to Honfleur. On the way between Rouen and Honfleur, view of the newly built Normandy bridge. In Honfleur : free time for lunch. We continue to the beaches of Normandy and pass by Deauville, Pegasus Bridge. Visit to the British Landing beaches (Sword), then visit to the Peace museum at Caen. Dinner and overnight stay at Novotel Caen. Day 2 : We leave Caen at 7.30am in the direction of Brittany. Guided visit of St Malo (ramparts, the cathedral etc). After lunch (free time) we depart for Mont-Saint-Michel (frontier between the Brittany and Normandy regions) for a guided visit of the Abbey followed by free time. Dinner and overnight stay at Angers. Day 3 : We leave Angers at 8am (short stop at Château d'Angers for taking photos) and pass by Cunault and Saumur. Guided visit to the castle of Langeais before lunch (free time) at Amboise. In the afternoon, we visit the Clos-Lucé, last dwelling of Leonardo da Vinci. At last, visit to gardens of Villandry and wine tasting in a local cellar. Dinner and overnight stay at the Hotel Clarion-Univers (or similar) in Tours. Day 4 : For our final day in the Loire Valley, our itinerary includes guided visits of Chenonceau, Cheverny and Chambord châteaux with a farewell lunch at the Hotel Saint-Hubert at Cheverny. Return to Paris around 7pm.

Dinner at Caen : Salad followed by roasted veal with calvados sauce and vegetables, cheese and apricot tart.
Dinner at Angers : Leek tart followed by tarragon flavored poultry with vegetables, cheese and dessert.
Dinner at Tours : Mushroom savory pastry, salmon cutlet with garniture, cheese and caramelized pear pastry.
Lunch at Cheverny : Salmon pastry, veal cutlet with apple sauce, cheese and dessert.
